I don’t know about you, but it’s around this time of winter that I start running out of new outfit ideas. I feel like I am rotating the same sweaters every week. In case this is resonating with you, we put together a little something to get you out of that winter outfit drought! Here are three ways to wear some summer staples in the winter.
#1 The Accordion Skirt
This summer the accordion skirt got a lot of air time! We found a way to winterize this traditionally summer piece by pairing it with a long sleeve dress (yep, this striped number is a dress … but you can just as well pair your accordion skirt with a long sleeved shirt and a fashionable scarf).

#2 Shorts
It’s no surprise here that shorts are usually worn in the summer. Why not switch things up and wear them in the winter? Put on some tights and voila … you’ve got a fresh new winter ensemble!

#3 Sun Dress
A sun dress, especially a mullet sun dress, is oh-so-chic during the summer. However, how about rockin’ a sun dress during the winter. If it’s not too weighty or bulky, you can tuck your dress in and act like it’s a shirt! Pair it with this cute sweater from Urban Outfitters and you are ready to bear those chilly temperatures in style.
