If you haven’t tried them yet, you have to snag some of these Japanese Kyoho grapes on your next trip to the farmer’s market (preferably this coming weekend because this seasonal delectable won’t be in season too much longer)!

I just tried these little spheres of heaven for the first time this past weekend at the Open Aire Market in La Jolla, CA (which is Ah-mazing btw), and I am in love! These things are absolutely delicious! When you bite into them, the sweet explosion of their flesh is to die for!

Traditionally Kyoho grapes, literally “giant mountain grapes,” (which is fitting because these are not your averaged-sized grapes) are served peeled as a dessert, but I like to eat them whole just like any other grape. And yep, they taste great frozen. And yep, they would make a great jam!

Serve them throw-back style in something like these wine glasses I just picked up at an estate sale.

Enjoy SaucyPants!
